ONCE A WEEK EVENING ACTING CLASS
The evening group acting classes are divided into 8-weeks long blocks. The next blocks of classes start in February, 2025.
You will work in small groups.
You will work on camera and analyse your performance on a large TV.
Complete beginners are welcome as well as established professionals.
You will get footage of your class material which you can share on social media, upload to ActingJet or use as showreel material.
Your class clips will have good sound and cinematic lighting quality.
BEGINNERS ENGLISH
This class is suitable for complete beginners as well as for those who have experience but haven’t achieved the level of PRO class yet.
Our focus is on gaining confidence and relaxation in front of the camera, on exploring archetypes, on identifying the best Archetypes for your acting career and on learning basic character analyzing techniques.
You can work on ActingJet Archetype scenes or you can bring other material of similar length (max 2 pages).

Duration: approx. 2 – 3 hours.

PRO ENGLISH - For Professional Actors
In the Pro English class, you will work alongside experienced colleagues. Our goal is to further develop your list of strong Archetypes and enhance your performance with emotionally strong and cinematic nuances.
You will be expected to work on more sophisticated scenes than in the Beginner’s class. You can select your material from our folder of Casting scenes, bring any other material of your own pick or choose from ActingJet Archetype scenes.

- Relaxed and confident in front of the camera (not struggling to remember lines)
- Confident cold reading

COACHING METHOD
David’s unique method derives strongly from his professional experience as an international casting director and a director of his own projects. His style of communication with actors is based on the teaching of an American coach Judith Weston.
When coaching acting adepts, David aims on reaching intimacy, vulnerability and emotional truthfulness. He motivates and guides his students to explore their own feelings and archetypes and to enhance their personal charisma, both of which is his key in shaping outstanding actors.
DAVID STEJSKAL
David is a director, screenwriter and an acting coach with strong past in international casting.
As a casting director David worked on TV shows Knightfall, 12 Monkeys, Whiskey Cavalier and feature films Ophelia, with Naomi Watts and Daisy Ridley, Unlocked, starring John Malkovich, Michael Douglas and Orlando Bloom, Zatopek by David Ondricek, Petr Jakl’s Medieval, the Jan Zizka story, and many more.
His writing and directing portfolio consists of numerous short films, music videos and commercials for big brands like Arla and Nestea).
He lived a significant part of his live in the UK where he studied film directing at Northern Film School.
His student short ‘Two Soldiers’ was in the official selection at the Manchester Film Festival. Amor Labori, a sci-fi, received numerous prises at festivals all over the world. Commercials for Nestea and Arla Denmark placed at MOFILM competitions.
In his work, David always focuses on believable performances and strong visual. His most loved themes are history, horses and action.
